Park in the Oak Coves Parking Area at Highbanks Metro Park to access the Overlook Trail. Enjoy the wooded ravines the park is famous for on this 3-mile round trip hike to the Wetland Spur Trail. Red and Grey Foxes can be found living in many Metro Parks. They often make use of fallen trees or brush piles for their dens. They are active most at sunrise and sunset hunting for squirrels and other meaty treats.
To participate in the Metro Parks GeoTrail go to www.metroparks.net/geotrail-2017 to find complete instructions. Download and print the GeoTrail page and complete at least 15 GeoTrail caches. As you find the caches fill in the cache clues on the GeoTrail page. The first 100 teams to return their forms are eligible to receive a Metro Parks Geocoin.
