Birds use river corridors to help find their way on their seasonal migration. Because many migrate at night, some landmarks are hard to see so they use stars on clear nights to give them directions. But daytime migrating birds see the rivers as a highway pointing the way.
To participate in the Metro Parks GeoTrail go to www.metroparks.net/geotrail-2017 to find complete instructions. Download and print the GeoTrail page and complete at least 15 GeoTrail caches. As you find the caches fill in the cache clues on the GeoTrail page. The first 100 teams to return their forms are eligible to receive a Metro Parks Geocoin.
