Geocache Description:

Take the first trail to the left after crossing concrete slab bridge just beyond the Hone Quarry Campground. This starts as a dirt road leading back to some campsites but quikly turns into a footpath with dirt mounds blocking vehile access. Their are also several tree's fallen across the trail. Climbing over them was a big adventure for my Grandson. He had a ball. This is a great family area in the George Washington National Forest. There is a nice picnic area and Fee camping area. I trailer camp there to hike and mountain bike quite a bit. There are many trails in the area to hike. This cache is suitable for even small kids. My three year old grandson hiked and placed this cache with me. It is hidden up a ridge about 150 feet off of the main trail. The cache consists of a 4 quart plastic container with stereo headphones, water bottle carrying pouch, money clip and a few other small objects. Please sign the log. 3-30-04Replaced container and log book
