Feek County Park near Leonidas, Michigan is a great spot for some peaceful walking, with mown trails meandering through the natural setting. Set on a piece of land that was donated to the county parks by Mrs. Margaret Olney Feek more than 10 years ago, it was once part of the large Olney family farm. The cache will take you on a short hike from the road, and is nestled in amongst the brush to the side of a path. Right across the path from the cache is a little known cluster of Pottawanamee burial mounds, if you look closely you can see the slight rise of the mounds still! I would not suggest exploring them though, there is a fairly dense thicket of brambles and hawthorn that can rip you up pretty bad, so pay your respects to the natives from the path, and enjoy their peaceful place!
One note, please keep in mind that the barns at the edge of the park are private property and not part of the park, the cache is not near them.
