Right next to the old Colgate-Palmolive soap and detergent factory and magnificent views of the harbour is this cache hidden away among one of the many overlooked beauties of Balmain. This cache is placed in a small park near the refurbished building which now serves as luxury housing. Inside the park, is a small bench and an old piece of machinery pulled from the factory.
Transport to this cache is no problem with frequent buses from the Gladstone park stop (accessible by the 442 from the city and 444 and 445 from western suburbs) or a short walk down the hill and from Balmain east ferry wharf (accessible from circular quay, darling harbour and most other up in harbour ferry stops) busses back along darling street.
