8/8/20 Seems like 12 of the travel bugs that were placed in this cache have gone missing. In the future, if you take a travel bug, please log it and move it along.
5/24/20 I have taken 8 more travel bugs to Rylee's Farm. I placed a container to the right of Rylee's Farm inside the host. It will only hold small/middle size travel bugs. Please take and log the ones you pick up and move them on. The letterbox stamps/ink & swag are still located in the tool box.
This is a letterbox cache. Go to the posted/parking coordinates and then walk 70 degrees for 28 paces. You should be able to see the large 2nd host from where you parked. There is a lock on the 2nd host, so use the numbers in the hint. Be very careful when touching the host, it is fragile. Leave everything where you found it, so others can enjoy. Do NOT come to cache after dark!
This cache is dedicated to Rylee. She (great-granddaughter) and hubby are now 6. I have been working on this cache off and on for over two years. And Rylee has been "playing" with the farm, since I started working on it.
She came to visit last month and a few parts that were almost completed were sitting on kitchen counter. She started moving stuff around. I was cooking and I heard a "I found the cache. I'm going to sign the log!" I looked up and the next thing I heard was "There is NO log." Thus she is first to find, but NOT FTF in current location. And the next week, she did sign the log (4-5-17). ☺
The hide - 'DOWN!' is opposite of 'UP!'. I went to 'UP!' link to UP! in May, 2011. It was quite an experience and it certainly got a favorite point from me. Hubby said I couldn't go 'UP' without someone going behind me. I found that someone and 'UP' I went with that someone behind me. Got to the top, holding on for dear life, and I reached my arm over enough to "feel" the container and logbook and then handed it back to someone. I never went high enough to "see" the container, but I did have the logbook in hand at the top and someone did sign the log for us. I think my legs were sore for at least a week, but it was such a happy sore.
So when I saw the pattern for the farm, I instantly came up with an idea. SOoooooo back to the hide - it is in the SAME type host as the host for "UP!", but it is DOWN, not UP. Nothing needs to be taken apart, so don't pull on any of the farm parts. There is a tool box placed below on big 2nd host with stamps/ink/paper and a place for swag/TB, but do NOT sign any place except the log that is in the host! Remember the host from "UP!?
What the host is in, is large (2nd host), BUT the cache container is a bison. I mean REALLY, you must have a bison @ Rylee's farm, right?
NOTE: The animals in the farm came from Rylee's mom on Christmas day, 2015.
