Modest journey by water, then over rocks and through brush.
Stage Island is less than a mile from the picturesque Maine vaction community of Biddeford Pool. A kayak is the vehicle of choice* for this hunt; they can be rented in the village but mind the tides and wind if you're unfamiliar with the area.
This is the "rebirth" of the Stage Island Monument cache. The first one, as you'll read below, was too flimsy a box and too obviously placed.
Well, I fixed both problems in 2003. Heh.
It's now a two-stage multi. The first stage (ahem) provides a pointer to the second stage.
The coordinates of the second stage (i.e. the actual cache) are encrypted in the hint; I urge you to print them out, since the first stage may disappear.
A new ammo box is now in play, starting with VHS's of Buckaroo Banzai and some sports bloopers, a bug wipe, a lure, some cards, feathers, etc.
*unless it's a neap tide, in which case you can walk.
