La Cumbrecita se encuentra en un pequeño valle de las Sierras Grandes de Córdoba, a 1450 msnm. Un rosario de casas de estilo centroeuropeo concentradas a la vera de los senderos que atraviesan el bosque.
Visitar La Cumbrecita es ingresar a un refugio de tranquilidad, donde la naturaleza y la mano del hombre han logrado mantener el equilibrio. Gracias a esto, La Cumbrecita y sus alrededores fueron declarados RESERVA NATURAL DE USO MULTIPLE.
La Cumbrecita es además un PUEBLO PEATONAL, donde no se permite el ingreso con vehículos y todos los recorridos están previstos para ser realizados a pie. Cascadas que bajan de la sierra, añosos bosques llenos de senderos, ríos de agua cristalina y típicas construcciones alpinas a uno y otro lado del camino son algunas de las características que definen su identidad.
Cuenta con una importante infraestructura de servicios. Hoteles, complejos de cabañas, hospedajes y suites con servicios de primera calidad; complejos recreativos, visitas guiadas y excursiones de turismo aventura componen parte de su oferta.
Además, las recetas de la tradición centroeuropea se combinan con la cocina criolla, creando diferentes platos que se pueden degustar en sus bares y restaurantes.
