Geocache Description:

Here is a chance to invite some friends, pile into a ride, go for a drive along Route 112 and enjoy the camaraderie as well as the views of this stretch of road. There are over 100 caches between Salisbury and Coles Island!

Once upon a time, before the superhighway between Fredericton and Moncton, Route 112 was a handy way to shave a half hour from your driving time. The road is now eerily quiet, as all businesses have closed or moved, and what is left is a few locals, many hunting camps, and lots of flora and fauna.

Please stay vigilant, wildlife abounds. I've seen moose, deer, bear, racoon, even turkeys on this road. Also the area is very popular with hunters in the fall, wear orange!

All hides are relatively easy, most are close to the road, and within easy access. Most are hanging containers in firs and pines. I purposely stayed clear of homes and camps.
