A travel bug hotel is a cache designed to ease the problems of travel bugs entering and exiting the country. It is a notebook and travel bug only cache. You may bag it without a travel bug if they should so wish but there are no giz-its to swap out.
If you are depositing a travel bug please describe in the notebook what you would like to happen to it.
The Lawrence is a superior Travel Bug Hotel serving Riyadh International Airport.
To find the hotel from the direction of the airport. Take the main exit road from the airport. You will eventually pass under a quite impressive canopy marking the entrance boundary (if you are new to Riyadh expect to pass through a speed trap somewhere before this canopy). Reset your odometer. You will pass a major exit and at ?Kms a minor slip road. Take this slip road. On your right is the Al Imam University (religious university) of Riyadh. The slip road puts you onto another road. Follow this until you can make a "U" turn past a pylon. Make the "U" turn and keep going straight on. You will cross over the motorway, pass the slip road allowing people off the motorway from the opposite direction and then take the second turning right. You will be heading towards the rear wall of Arizona Golf Resort (and Cordoba compound). If you are heading to the Arizona main entrance you have missed the right turn. On the compound wall, on your left, is a printed sign stating it is the "Arizona Golf Resort". Immediately before the sign you will see three concrete barriers preventing you from turning left and driving along the side of the compound. The cache is at the furthest end of the furthest barrier from the wall, i.e. on the extreme left as you look at it.
To find the hotel from Riyadh. Take the Junction 2a off the ring road and once on the road (opposite Fal compound) take the second turning right.
The cache is a Tupperware box.
To continue your journey, retrace your steps. Those heading into Riyadh will repeat the "U" turn past the pylon. Those heading to the airport will take the slip road immediately after the Fal Compound.
