Geocache Description:

The Metro Parks have asked for Phip’s help. If you’ve never met Phip, you can find out more about him here:GC6Z89M TAF - Downtown Grove City.


To find this cache, head to the posted coordinates. On one of the signs there you will see the question, “What is the REI Backpacking Trail?” Text Phip at 614-WIL-HLP-U the last word of the paragraph that answers this question. Send him the correct word and he will direct you to the cache.

Educational Cache Info:

There are more than 3,000 species of mosquitoes worldwide. While they are a nuisance to people they are an important part of the nocturnal web of life, serving as food for bats, frogs and birds. The males are important pollinators of many native plants.

To participate in the Metro Parks GeoTrail go to www.metroparks.net/geotrail-2017 to find complete instructions. Download and print the GeoTrail page and complete at least 15 GeoTrail caches. As you find the caches fill in the cache clues on the GeoTrail page. The first 100 teams to return their forms are eligible to receive a Metro Parks Geocoin. You will need all 20 clues to complete the puzzle and unlock the coordinates of the Bonus Puzzle Cache.Mark your calendar for the GeoTrail Celebration on October 13th.
