A simple but fun cache experience. Pencil, logbook and swaps provided! Very little walking required.
This road is named after a family of locals who have lived in the area for 5 generations.
This is also the road where one of these locals built their own Observatory (Mallee Sky) however this is a bit further on, and is currently CLOSED until further notice.
This also explains why there are the names of planets on white posts along the western side of the road starting from Pluto on the Highway (Kingston Road) ending with Mars near the driveway to the Observatory.
Added to this, some other enterprising person seems to have placed an item that you might normally find in an office along this quiet dirt road.
Please Note: We trust you will respect any items you may see whilst driving this scenic country route. This has been a local community project over more than 10 years to make it a fun route to drive for the kids (and the big kids) but it won't be fun if anyone damages or removes any said items.
