Stillwater Township has developed a system of trails and parks, just north of Stillwater, MN. This cache should be a nice walk on some trails you probably never knew were there.
Follow the link for a map of the township trails and parks, and also those maintained by Washington County. You will also find geocaches in the 3 township parks (Little Carnelian, Arcola Heights and Otto Berg).
Parks and trails are open from 6am to 10pm.
First Stage: You will gather information from the sign near the parking on 100th Street. Find the web address near the bottom of the sign, which has 3 "words" (not counting www or com).
M = Count the number of letters in the full name of the abbreviated state, which starts with M.
N = Count the number of letters in the second word, which starts with N.
L = Count the number of letters in the third word, which starts with L.
The coordinates for Stage 2 are:
N 45° 05.MLN W 092° 49.072
Look at the order carefully.
2nd Stage: You will find a camo tag with coordinates for the Final Stage.
If you are also doing other Stillwater Township Trail caches, I recommend you continue on from this one and enjoy the walk.
Please use recommended parking coordinates. 100th Street is a quiet country road with good shoulder.
Parking on Stonebridge Trail is strongly discouraged.
