Blackall has become very well known for arts and culture...whether it be art and craft workshops, retreats or the many sculptures that pepper the town, but are predominantly near the river. They're generally made from recycled materials from property rubbish dumps, a fantastic source of old wheels, tools, lengths of steel etc. This striking sculpture, created by Adrian Vanderlught is made from lengths of old pipe and wheels. Adrian was the Artist in Residence during the 2011 Blackall Heartland Festival.
This can be a very busy area in tourist season, so stealth is essential!
