This is a popular park. People often come to walk, fish, have picnics and to watch the birds. The park is a haven for migrating songbirds so keep your eyes and ears open. Hundreds of these birds fly from Central America each year to spend the summer in Medina County. The trails do have some hills and may be muddy after it rains. The upper trail surrounds the Cool-Season Grasses area. Dogs are permitted but must be on a leash.
This is a plastic container with room for small trade items. Bring your own writing instrument as a signature on the log sheet is required to claim the find. It is located just off of the ¾ mile Red Trail that takes you through the mature forest. GZ can be exposed so you may be visible to muggles if you are not careful. All geocaches in Medina County Parks need to be within 15 ft of the path so do not bushwhack through the forest. Please re-hide the container as you found it with proper camo for the next cacher to find.
