This is a popular park. People often come to walk, fish, have picnics and to watch the birds. The park is a haven for migrating songbirds so keep your eyes and ears open. Hundreds of these birds fly from Central America each year to spend the summer in Medina County. The trails do have some hills and may be muddy after it rains. The upper trail surrounds the Cool-Season Grasses area. Dogs are permitted but must be on a leash.
The item you seek is not very big and is attached to a tree along the edge of the woods near the pavilion. Remove the inner container to access the log sheet. Do not detach the outer container from where it is secured. Please put everything back as you found it. Bring your own writing instrument as a signature on the paper is required to claim the find. You may be visible to anyone entering the parking lot from the street or by others around the pavilion so be stealthy.
