We were placing some caches for the Cherry Capital Cachers' springtime event "Christmas in the North", not very far from our home, and we decided that this spot needed a cache of its own, even if it did not have a Christmas theme. Looking across the water to the island, you might see an eagle's nest at the top of a tree. We have seen the eagles from here a number of times and they've been hanging around the lake for several years in different trees.
This is a small cache with just a few foreign coins to get started. The hiding spot is a pretty typical one. The two-track to get here, however, will be VERY difficult for a regular auto. We'd recommend a Jeep or a pickup truck or something with a lot of ground clearance. Keep on 'caching!
