This cache is in the picturesque and unique Broch of Clickimin, an Iron Age fortification situated on a small landmass in Clickimin Loch, on the south side of Lerwick. The broch is easily reachable by a path from the main road (the gate is locked in the evening) and there is parking nearby, either at the Sound Service Station or Tesco a few minutes away.
A fascinating and beautiful location, visitors are able to go into and around the restored broch at their leisure. This site is popular with locals and tourists alike, and it well worth a visit.
Located before you get tot broch itself, the cache is a small, plastic box containing a log and a couple of swappables.
While the terrain is not challenging, there are gates to navigate that may be a small issue for wheelchair users.
