After flowing northward, Eagle Creek takes a turn toward the east at this crossing.
This is part of series of caches that follows Eagle Creek as it meanders its way through the 80 km radius area imposed by SCAR X rules. This series encourages a tour of the many Eagle Creek crossings with many wildlife, ecosystem, and geography observation opportunities.
Eagle Creek is an important and water conduit that meanders its way from the Killsquaw Lakes near the Town of Unity, southeast to near Rosetown, northeast to near Tessier, then northward through the Eagle Creek Regional Park, continuing northward to empty into the South Saskatchewan River. The Eagle Creek Watershed is monitored and protected by the Eagle Creek Watershed Group, formed by farm operations, rural municipalities, and the Ministry of Agriculture.
The cache contains log book, pencil, and lots of kid-friendly swag.
This cache is placed for the SCAR X event. Please do not search for, or post a log for, this cache until after 5:30pm on May 26th, 2017.
