Geocache Description:

We took our young ones around Palisade Lake for the first time, and they had a blast! After finding some other nearby geocaches, we thought we ought to hide one of our own! In honor of our youngest, and the nearby town of the same name, we decided to name it Sterling².

Left: This is the location of the geocache. Once you find this area, should be relatively easy to find.

It is along a decent trail that isn't too hard to follow, and we and the boys had a great time exploring the area nearby. We found a scorpion, some yucca plants, which I've never seen this far north, a bunch of different lizards, and also some interesting rock formations. We hope you enjoy the trip as much as we did!

Note that this is outside of Palisade State Park (the West / SW side of the lake is not in the park), but if you want to access the other amenities, etc., you'll need to have at least a day pass to do so. You can get one good at most any state park for a whole year for just $75, or just get the daily pass instead if you'd like. See their website for current fees, details, etc (https://stateparks.utah.gov/parks/palisade/). It's a great place to camp, fish, hike, etc., so we hope that you enjoy your stay!
