This Cache is placed as part of the 2017 New York State Park Central Region Geocache Challenge. There are 67 geocaches hidden within 20 state parks and historic sites in this parks region, the first 100 people to find 40 or more caches will receive a special geocache challenge coin. NYS Parks Saratoga - Capital Region will be hosting a similar challenge!! 10 caches found in the Sara-Cap Region Challenge can be used toward the Central Challenge (and visa versa)!

This cache contains a unique stamp which must stay with the cache. Use this stamp to mark your passport. This stamp is NOT a trade item. Some of the items in the cache are park souvenirs and do not need to be replaced with a trade item.
To access the caches at Green lakes, park as suggested, and walk up through the campgrounds to the trailhead. Follow the trails and your GPS to the blue trail. This is a long hike but there are several other caches along the way, and eventually, you could swing over and find the Do the Dewski 12 Pack. None of the hides are difficult, but the hike is long.
