Geocache Description:

This geocache is placed in one of my favorite Medina County Parks--  the Carolyn Ludwig Mugrage Park.  It is one of the newest of the Medina County parks, and there have been many improvements and enhancements to the park in the few years it has been here.  It seems as if there's always something new to see, do, or experience!

The park is open from 8:00 a.m. to dark.  Absolutely NO night caching!

You will enjoy a hike on the nature trail that winds through the woods and past several vernal pools that are located in this lovely park.  Trails may be wet or muddy at certain times of the year, so please wear appropriate footwear.

Vernal pools (also called ephemeral pools) are temporary pools of water that fill up in springtime and dry up by mid- to late summer.  They are important to the ecosystem because they provide habitat for many insects and amphibians.

This geocache is a small lock 'n lock covered with camouflage duct tape.  Please bring a pen with you to sign the log and cover the geocache with natural material before you leave to prevent its accidental discovery by muggles.

This geocache is placed with the permission of the Medina County Park District--  Permit # 118.
