I have wanted to place a geocache around here for a while to add to the existing nearby caches, this is a small cache, so BYOP but you should not need tweezers for this one. Close to a nice little spot where The River Tame (Willenhall/Bentley Arm) runs in its early stages through here and heads off under the Walsall Canal at the nearby James Bridge Aqueduct. This path away from the road can get muddy, keep a close eye on Geokids around here as there are exposed drops to the River below.
If you continue along the dirt path leading away from Bentley Mill Road you can follow Sneyd Brook a short way and you might find a mysterious tunnel that leads off under the M6 Motorway and onto Primley Avenue Park on the opposite side...
THE RIVER TAME:
The River Tame is the main river of the West Midlands of England, and the most important tributary of the River Trent. This section of The River Tame has been traced back to as far as Stow Heath, near Bilston, where it is marked by a marshy patch at the northern end of the City of Wolverhampton College Wellington Road campus.
