Have spent quite a bit of time playing this scenic river when we needed our paddling "fix". There are a couple of ways to come at this cache in the summer. You can put in at LaSalle and head west or can put in at McDonald road and head east. The put in at McDonald road requires a bit of a step down into your vessel. It will also be retrievable during the winter. The cache is a simple small recycled Advil container colored to blend in with its surroundings and can be tricky to reach depending on the water levels. You will need to bring a writing tool. Have fun and see how many different critters you can find.
