Geocache Description:

We thought we might share another of the gangs favourite walks, this one is around the Valley Farm area. It can be done as an extension from the Pepwell Peregrination No 1 (GC5TCBC). The caches form a circular walk of 1 ½ miles of easy walking over flat terrain, some sections may contain traces of mud. As the paths cross working farmland, tractors and machinery may be in use. Please bring your own pencil. A map of the route is available in the gallery.

Some parking is available in the drive way to Valley Farm at N52 19.339 W002 12.801, parking opportunities may also be found on the wide grass verges of Crown Lane.

Refreshments are available at the Mitre Oak, the snack van in the A449 lay-by, or the golf club on Bishops wood lane has a very nice bar with a splendid carvery at the weekends.

Our thanks to Mr Denby the parish path warden for his enthusiasm and encouragement in the production of these caches.

Continue eastwards along Crown Lane crossing the road near the railway bridge. Warning this road is very busy with an industrial park and the county recycle centre, please take extreme care whilst crossing particularly with geohounds and children Walk along the driveway towards valley farm.

You do NOT need to cross any fence, open any gates or enter the railways property in any way shape or form.

DO NOT ENTER THE RAILWAYS LAND!

You are looking for concealed small cache.
