I wanted to make a series to highlight places in Upshur County that people pass every day. So I set about to make a little loop from Sago -Tenmile-Queens-Tallmansville-to Buckhannon to let you experience life in Upshur County past and present.
There is an active rail road tunnel under this mountain! One of two that I know are still active in Upshur County. How cool is that! There was not a good location closer to set a cach. So I set one here! The cache is small clearly labeled official geocache.....with a log and room for tradable items . Bring your own pen. There is a wide spot big enough for one vehicle. This cache is not in the guard rail but setting beside a gate post. Please be cautious while caching with small childen as its close to the road. Please set back with the top up. I hope you enjoy this series and have fun seeing parts of Upshur County most miss. Happy caching!
