The Commander was the Energy Manager for the Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs and was involved in conserving energy and promoting renewable energy on a day by day basis. As such, I thought it would be fun to put together a series of caches that took you to places in Madison where Solar Energy is being harnessed.
I placed this cache with standard geocaching tools that I keep in my car. Being a husky person myself I did it without climbing. Grumble all you want, if you are prepared or seasoned cacher, this shouldn’t be that hard of a nut to crack. Please replace it as you found it, you wouldn’t want to make it too easy for the next cacher, would you?
Geocaching activity is only allowed in general parklands in the City of Madison and Geocaching activity is prohibited at: Forest Hill Cemetery, Olbrich Garden, City of Madison conservation parks, Odana Golf Course, Monona Golf Course, Yahara Golf Course, Glenway Golf Course and areas with identified Indian Mounds. All geocachers will be respectful of all public parkland. No digging or penetration of ground surface will be permitted. Trees, shrubs and plants will not be disturbed or altered at any time.
