Oh Canada Day Chicken BBQ Event Cache

TIME CHANGE FOR EVENT: to celebrate Canada Day, and get a souvenir.  The coords get you to the corner of 108 and 36, and then follow the directions for parking and head for the BBQ.  Come early and bring your own chairs; we will have an area in the park reserved for geocachers, and a log,   Bring your tbs to swap.  BBQ  starts at 12:30 pm (optional) . DUE TO BAD WEATHER EXPECTED in the AFTERNOON, the EVENT WILL START at 11;00 AM. We may close up early too, but not before 1 PM. 

This is a family friendly event that celebrates a lot of great things:  summer, Independence Day, Canada Day and Canada's 150th anniversary, USA's 241st birthday, small town festivals, chicken bbq, and another souvenir opportunity in geocaching. And the best part about it is someone else does all the work.

But BEWARE,  there's a parade immediately before the BBQ starts, so if you don't want to be stuck in traffic waiting to get in, come before 11:30 and enjoy the parade. The BBQ (optional) is only $8, but they recommend coming early to get your tickets. We can look into reserving tickets for those interested.

Our friend to the north is having an important birthday, and Signal, our favorite frog will be visiting Canada to cache like a Canadian and celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary.
