Geocache Description:

This cache is dedicated to three of my grandchildren. It is a beautiful spot for having a picnic or for viewing waterbirds. It’s a good place to find crocuses in the spring.

There are many different paths for reaching this cache, located at the north end of the Crestview subdivision in Whitehorse. The easiest way may be to access the greenbelt directly behind the houses at the north end of Klukshu Ave., turn right, and then turn left into the woods in a spot that will take you over two bridges (one of them makeshift). Once you have crossed over the two bridges, walk several meters more until you reach another trail. Turn left, and then almost immediately turn right onto a trail that heads in a diagonal direction. Once you come to the end of that path, turn right, and continue following coordinates until you come to a lookout over a small lake. It is in that area that you will find the cache. Once you have found the cache, spend some time watching for water fowl and perhaps have a picnic at this pretty spot.
