Geocache Description:

About 100’ north of the cache is an area with a sign with the name of Potter’s Field. There is an unusual stone near the sign. Is it a key? Does anyone know any information about it?

A potter's field, paupers' grave or common grave is a term for a place for the burial of unknown or indigent people. The term is of Biblical origin, referring to a ground where clay was dug for pottery, later bought by the high priests of Jerusalem for the burial of strangers, criminals and the poor.
