The road mostly runs at the plain land on a ridge and you see few trees along the Nakasendo Road between Shin-Chaya and Magome-juku. So here you are - this might be a good place with some trees that give you good shade to take a rest.

落合宿から馬籠宿までの中山道を歩きましょう。
新茶屋と馬篭の間は、中山道が尾根筋の平らな部分を走っているので、ほとんど木立ちがありませんが、ここには多少の木が生えていて、ひと休みするのにちょうどよい木陰を作ってくれています。
