Located between the no longer visible entrance to the Jug Hollow Mine and the last remnants of the old mine road that connected Oakwood Lane and Jug Hollow Road which became a local dump in the 1950's and 1960's after the mine collapsed. Rumors have it that the largest items found were a car and a bulldozer! I remember numerous tin cans and old bottles.
A few years ago, a few family members - also cachers - placed a cache oh so close to my home. I bided my time and now with a certain family member who may be a cacher - away... well, as they say the mice will have their day.
You are now looking for the new container- a camo’ed pill bottle that had found a little shelter by the tree. Use caution in the area - there is an open culvert nearby. There is parking for one car. Cache is large enough to hold small items and has an unactivated FTF coin. Enjoy!
