Geocache Description:

Please note: the original cache has gone missing, but there is a large tobacco can in its place. Please sign the log in it, and indicate 'missing' on your passport. Thanks!

This geocache is located the Battle of Bloody Creek Monument along Highway 201 near Bridgetown, Nova Scotia. Be sure to find all the geocaches in the series in order to get your limited edition geocoin celebrating Canada's 150th Birthday. This cache is one of the 2017 County of Annapolis Geocaching Passport Series.

This Monument commemorates two combats on December 8, 1757 between British garrisons of Annapolis Royal and allied French and Indians in half century of conflict for possession of Acadia on the north bank of the Annapolis River.

Remember to pick up one of the historical postcards from each of all the 2017 geocaches and then to deliver them to County of Annapolis Recreation Office at 271 Granville Street Bridgetown, Nova Scotia. The recreation office is only open from 9 am to 1 pm Monday to Friday. Once completed, fill in the quick survey/passport for your limited edition trackable geocoin. Have fun!
