This series of 12 geocaches is dedicated to our favorite TV comedy, The Big Bang Theory. Created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, the series premiered on CBS in Sept of 2007. At the time these geocaches were placed, the series had just completed its 10th season and had been renewed for 2 more. This cache salutes “Fun With Flags”, the YouTube/podcast hosted by Sheldon and later by Sheldon and Amy together. The podcast highlights flags and facts about flags. What are likely the largest flagpole and flag in the Roanoke area tower over this geocache. Lost a little blood placing this cache, so BE CAREFUL; IT CAN BE A BIT THORNY. If you continue just a little further off this I-81 exit to the intersection of Plantation Rd and Route 11/Route 220 Alt, and take a left at the stoplight, you will see a train store at the end of a small group of businesses on the right. Sheldon would love that! Congrats to klefevers who claimed a Big Bang Theory Magnet for FTF. Additional congrats to klefevers for being the first to log all 12 caches of this series.
