This night cache is very family friendly. Almost all of the trail is along a nicely paved trail. Only the last few steps make this not a terrain 1 multi cache. It will take you 1/2 hour to complete the trail and return to the beginning. Here are the things you need to know.
This cache must be done in the dark. You need a flashlight. And you need to read the description below.
At the posted coordinates take your flashlight. Hold it at eye level and look into the trees. Do you see it? Yes you should see a red spot. That is a fire tack. If you walk towards it along the paved trail you should see another one. After that you will see white fire tacks. Keep following them. Those tacks will lead you to the cache. Wait! You have been walking for a few minutes and no you see a red fire tack again! That's okay. The trail crosses a road twice and we wanted to make sure you will be able to know that you are getting close to the road. There will be a red fire tack on each side of the road. So you have crossed roads twice and have been walk for a bit. Good stay on the paved trail. When you find two tacks together on the same tree stop. Look beyond the tree with your flashlight. Do you see them? Six red fire tacks pointing down to the cache. Go find that ammo can.
For your family's safety you will be able to follow the tacks back to your starting point. We hope you enjoyed this nightcache.
