You may notice that the coordinates for this event happen to be the same as a cache owned by the honoree...coincidence? I think not! David is an ardent supporter of geocaching and the brewery and was recently elected to the board of GeocacheAlaska! I'm not sure how long he's actively been working on the 365-day Challenge, but when I found out that he only had 1 day left to finish it, I decided that he needed an option of something better than a ho-hum cache to make the day special.
