Geocache Description:

Westoning is a village and civil parish in Bedfordshire, England. It is located around 0.5 miles (0.8 km) south of the town of Flitwick. The River Flit flows behind the Westoning stud farm.

The village is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 and is protected from development and expansion by being bordered by green belt land on all sides and by the M1 motorway. This series of cache's will take you to some of the boundary's of the village.

The railway bridge holds the line in to London from Bedford and is quite busy. From here you can cross the fields and follow the line to a number of other cache's and to the village of Harlington where you can enjoy another cache series called "The Harlington Hustle". The bridge is surrounded by railings to keep you safe, but you get magnetically drawn to them somehow, especially to the corners which are so welcoming. Be careful when replacing this cache that it has the connectors pointing back up to attach it again.
