This cache is a Whereigo tour of the Empire Mines Visitor Center, the mining yard, and the Cottage. It is a fascinating place to explore, and if you enjoy the history of mining technology, I suggest you budget a couple hours for visiting this site. There is an entrance fee to enter the visitors center.
The visitors center is usually open 10 to 7.
The Cottage.
You need to enter, answer all the questions, then you will receive the coordinates and a hint for the geocache hidden in the woods about half a mile away. You will be answering about 8 questions.
In order to qualify for the finalee you will need to find 9 of the 10 caches for this series, hidden in the Park. Doing them all might take a couple of days, although each one should be able to be found in one hour.
Pay attention to the comments in the whereigo, in case there are some clues for some of the other caches .
The rest of the caches are spread out throughout the park and will give you a grand tour of the park.
