The state-owned Spooner Agricultural Research Station offers visitors an opportunity to review several different teaching and display gardens; a perennial pollinator garden comprised mainly of native plant materials, an All American Selection (AAS) eight segment pinwheel garden and vegetables in various planting schemes.
This garden site is host to several educational events throughout the growing season. The main event is the Twilight Tour to be held on August 15, 2017. Permission for this cache has been given by Kevin Shoessow, the Ag Agent at the Ag Station. Permission has been given to place this cache from Kevin Shoessow, the UWEX Ag Agent for Washburn County.
