Geocache Description:

This is a series of 7 geocaches that have been placed near a paved bike and walking trail, on the north side of Highway 101, in Roberts Creek.  These caches are all reasonably close to the trail, little or no bush whacking is required.   The trail runs from Roberts Creek Road to just west of Pell Road.

The easiest way to get these caches is to ride a bike or walk along the trail.

Travelling from Gibsons to Sechelt:  To access the start of the trail turn right on Roberts Creek Road. The trail is about 10 meters north of the Highway.

Traveling from Sechelt to Gibsons: Access the trail on the north side of the highway just east of Roberts Creek Provincial Park.  (You will want to do the caches from number 7 through 1).

If you are travelling by car, please be aware that Highway 101 can be very busy and there is no place to park close to the individual caches.  It is also difficult to get from the highway to the trail.  It is much safer to park on Flume Road, Pell Road and/or Roberts Creek Road and walk along the trail to the caches.  You can also park and ride your bike to the caches and then return to your vehicle.

History of this trail

This trail was originally an access road under some power lines that travelled though the area. In the 1990s a water main was required and it was placed next to the trail.  Upon completion, the trail was paved and we how have this little gem.  There has been talk of continuing this trail all the way from Sechelt to Gibsons but so far this is all we have.
