When a bald eagle loses a feather on one wing, it will lose a feather on the other in order to keep its balance!
Bald eagles make their homes in forested areas near large bodies of water. This environment ensures good fishing and large trees for nesting. Eagles also tend to seek areas that are isolated from humans.

We have hidden a series of caches in the community of Bridal Falls.  We challenge you to find all 8!    These our our first hides, so please leave us feedback.  We have hidden clear plastic containers and included log books, pencils and numerous trade items.  We were inspired to do this when we were hiking in Bridal Falls one day and accidentally found a geocache!  We are locals, so we are able to tend to these caches on a regular basis, so if maintenance is needed, please do let us know (we already had a bear destroy one of our caches).
