As Signal continues to celebrate geocaching around the world, our favorite frog will be visiting Canada to cache like a Canadian and celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary. When antbedy's friends back in Tennessee started talking about hosting an event on July 1 or 2 to celebrate Canada Day, antbedy was disappointed to realize she would be on an Alaskan cruise and wouldn't be able to attend. But then, she looked at her itinerary and saw that her ship would be stopping off in Victoria on July 1.
An idea began to form. Why not attend an event in Canada on Canada Day, meet some of the local cachers, and earn her Canada Day event souvenir? Sadly, when she looked up the events in the area of Victoria, they were both scheduled for early in the day, and her ship would not dock until 6:00 pm. So, she decided to plan her own event.
Join antbedy and Signal for a meet and greet near the cruise port at 7:30 pm. The event will last until 8:00 pm or later if everyone is having too much fun to leave. Party favors will be available for the first 10 people to arrive. We can trade TBs and other collectible items, swap geocaching stories, and celebrate Canada's 150th birthday.
