Castle Gardens Traditional Cache

Heartland Cacher: Greetings I'm Heartland Cacher, one of the volunteer reviewers for new caches submitted to Geocaching.com.

It has been a while since I first looked at this cache. I can't find any recent responses from the Cache Owner about maintaining this cache which makes it appear the Cache Owner is either unwilling or unable to maintain the cache. Cache maintenance includes listing maintenance including updating any changes to the text, updating coordinates, removing needs maintenance attributes and enabling the listing. The cache will be archived and removed from the active cache listings.

Geocache Description:

Dead Center of Wyoming.

How To: Take Highway 20 to Moneta, Wyoming. Just past Moneta is Castle Gardens Road. Follow the signs appx. 25 miles to Castle Gardens, once you are there start looking!

About Castle Gardens:

PETROGLYPHS: on the cliff walls were made by Indians hundreds of years ago while hunting and camping in the area. Pictured are people, animals and symbols telling us about ancient ways of life.

SHIELD MOTIFS: found here are among the finest in the west. The shield art form is found from Mexico to Canada, revealing a wide spread diffusion of ideas.

EACH ART WORK: tells a story—
Wander at your leisure through the gardens and see how many figures you can locate and interpret.

REMEMBER: Petroglyphs are irreplaceable.
Enjoy but do not destroy your American Heritage.
