Geocache Description:

You are looking for a large ammo can, hidden beyond the end of J-1001. Tribal conservation permit required. Well stocked with swag. FTF prize - proform tube..

J-1001 is an off shoot of the forest road about a mile north of the entrance to Jette Lake subdivision off US93. Not exactly a P&G but you should be able to park fairly close or enjoy a nice short hike. Be sure to grab the cache at the beginning of the road.

In the spring, be sure to smell the lupin.

Although the area should be muggle free, be prepared for wildlife encounters. Bear spray might be a handy tool.

Remember, if you are not a tribal member you will need to carry a tribal conservation permit to recreate on Flathead Indian Reservation land. You can get your yearly conservation permit in Polson at Walmart and in Ronan at Ronan Sports and Western and many other locations throughout the valley.
