Out with a friend and introducing some young ladies to the art of Geocaching and so decided we should place one also. Hopefully avoided the Poison Oak, which made finding a good hiding spot hard to find. It is off on an old road that is not marked as a trail, but was the access to a house in the woods by one of the last residence of the Pleasanton Ridge. The house is gone, but you will notice some of the planted trees and plants to the once landscaped area. Don't know the story, but there are a lot of rumors out there, this site was still inhabited when the park was first opened. It was said that visitors to the park were not welcome near this land. You are welcome now to come find a cache.
