Geocache Description:

Ceann tapaidh in aice leis an gcéibh. A quick cache beside the pier

Ba bhreá lion sean-tarracóir mar seo a feiceáil ag trasnú!

We would love to see an old tractor like this crossing

Fáilte go hInis Mór. Inis Mór is the largest of the Aran Islands (Inis meaning island, Mór means big/large in Gaeilge), Inis Meáin is so named because it is the second largest (meán meaning middle/average/medium) and Inis Oirr is the smallest (Oirthear means east, Inis Oirr is the most easterly island).

The island is a karst landscape, like that of the Burren with exposed limestone at the surface. The islands are a Gaeltacht area with people speak Gaeilge daily.
