Geocache Description:

The trails to this cache will take you through a forested area and a ridge above the Little Takhini Creek.  We've been walking these trails for many years, as well as our neighbours and we never tire of the views, the wild flowers and the bird songs.  You can continue along the trail above the Little Takhini to where it flows into the Yukon River and then return the same way, or take one of the many paths that loop back to the North Klondike Highway.


The best way to get to this cache is to park opposite Cloudberry Lane on the North Klondike Highway at the entrance to the Ta'an Kwach'an subdivision.  Walk towards the south end of this paved road, and then take the first trail on the left that leads in an easterly direction.  This path takes you to a ridge overlooking Little Takhini Creek. Follow your gps to find the cache a short distance off the trail. The cache container is a small, rubbermade type, wrapped in camo tape.  It's
