Beach Meadows Ghost Walk Wherigo Cache

This is a Wherigo to help recreate the walks we took as my uncle told us ghost stories.

As a small child we would spend time here at our grandparents cottage in Beach Meadows Beach.  One of my fondest memories was of my uncle telling us ghost stories.

As it got dark we would head out onto the beach and up to Coombs' Rock at the far end of the beach. Once perched atop the rock the stories would begin. As my sister, my cousin and I would sit there my uncle would set the stage. We would huddle together for moral support as the story unfolded and as we finally got to the point that we couldn't take any more it would be time for the walk back to the cabin to get ready for bed.

But there was a catch. We didn't have a flashlight, so we had to navigate a dark beach by starlight to find our path to the cabin. The other catch was that all of the stories took place on the very beach that we were walking in the dark. With the three of us gripping hands, we crept down the beach watching over our shoulders and listening for any unusual sound, and there were always plenty.  We always seemed to just make it inside ahead of whatever ghost we had heard about that night.
