MrsT's Birthday Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

FamilyTye: Sadly this one has gone missing again and after some thought we have decided to archive it. We will continue the development of our "project fear" series during the course of this year (2021) and hopefully publish these once suitable locations have been identified.

Many thanks to all finders of this cache which was our first hide location.

Geocache Description:

This location was where we placed our first every cache, the original cache was bought for MrT by MrsT on our 4th wedding anniversary and placed on MrsT's 33rd Birthday.

Sadly that cache went walkies (as did it's replacement) so a new cache moved not too far away now acts as a commemoration of the event.

We chose this spot as it's very popular with MiniT as she gets to feed the ducks and in the summer months look at the horses and cows that roam free on the common.

The area of Soham has some fascinating history, some which may surprise (well it certainly did with me). If you have time I encourage you to read about this and have placed some links to websites below. The first link is the easiest read for those just wanting a quick insight into the commons. For more on the history of Soham the next two links will provide some excellent insight. It's also worth noting that the www.soham.org website has lots of other excellent material on Soham which is well worth a read.
