Claybanks Campgrounds Cache Traditional Cache

This cache is located at a scenic, off the beaten path, campgournds. You can stop in for pennies on the dollar to spend the day and enjoy the beautiful beach and stunning  view of Lake Michigan.

Once you enter the campgrounds, you will want to park at the far west end of the campgrounds. There is parking there for day visitors. Near the day stay parking area is a set of woodend steps leading down to the beach. This is ground zero for the cache. Think low. and watch your step for this cache!

​Be aware that there is poison ivy in this area​ As long as you are careful you should be just fine. It isn't like a forest of the stuff just a few plants here and there!

Camping is also available at a reasonalbe rate of 25 dollars a night. For such a beautiful area, that is a steal of a bargain. I highly recommend the camping here.
